Red Nosed Clown Biscuits.
What you need:
2oz sugar
4oz Margarine or Butter
6oz Plain flour
Icing sugar
Red food colouring
Pre-made royal icing (or you can make your own)
Smarties
Icing pens
Rolling pin
Round cutter
Start by working the Sugar, butter and flour together with your hands, then kneed into a ball. Roll out onto a floured surface and using a cutter make circles (I didn't have a circle cutter so used one of the hoops from a game of Emmy's - you could use a cup, plate or and circle shape). We then baked our biscuits for around 8-10 minutes in the oven on 200 degrees.
We iced our biscuits by mixing the icing sugar together with a few drops of water and red food colouring, then Emmy decorated it - smarties for hair, a red ball of royal icing (ours was white but I added a few drops of red colouring and worked it in - it's messy so do that yourself), we then used the icing pens to make mouth and eyes.
