The Baby and Toddler Show - Bluewater

Once again we visited the Baby and Toddler show at the Glow inside Bluewater.

This year we visited with a difference - Harry had arrived so instead of browsing maternity and newborn products we browsed with an older baby in mind.

Weaning was on our mind so we popped over for a demenstration from Fill n Squeeze - this is a way of making the sachet purees of baby/toddler foods yourself at home.  Add the ingredients, mash or puree with a hand blender then squeeze into the reusable food pouches.  Emmy still loves the fruit versions of these so would be used lots in this house.

Much to my surprise Paul was VERY taken with not one but 2 buggies!  That is unheard of as he really doesn't see that one is SO much different to another.

The first was the Easywalker Mini stroller - available from june this year, a buggy designed by MINI to fit inside.....well you guessed it a MINI.

This small stroller accommodates a carrycot, car seat and can also be parent and world facing too.

The other stroller was a small one too, the Babyzen YoYo, with it's large seat Emmy sat in it comfortably and point blank refused to get out again.

This stroller once fitted fits in the overhead luggage storage on a plane (folded measures 52 x 44 x 18 cms) and weighs only 5.8kgs.

And Emmy's favourite item was the PlayAway Case.

This we will  be looking at closely over the next few weeks as Emmy has one ready for her holiday to Cornwall at the beginning of May for her godmother's wedding.

Playaway Cases are a child's sized suitcase (Hand luggage size) with a retractable and adjustable handle which has a removable front section which opens up to contain toys and colouring ready for a journey.  (Full review to follow)

We do love browsing the baby show and is always great to go back and see old friends we have made - we happened to be walking past the Snugglebundl stand as they were chatting with a heavily pregnant lady saying that often customers go back to say thank you - we were able to the talk to the lady and tell her how much we loved ours and how it helped post section.  She then went on to buy one - its nice to be able to give feedback face to face sometimes.

We we given free tickets to the show however all thoughts are my own and I wasn't asked to mention any of the products above - I have done because I like them.
