The summer holidays are well and truly under way, we are a good few weeks in and most importantly we are still alive!!
It is a major achievement some days with a 4 year old going on 14 with the biggest tantrums ever!
We have been keeping the days fun and busy.
We have had a few days out which have obviously cost money however there are so many fun things you can do which are free or cost very little.
These are our top 20 free/cheap summer activities:
- Tree Climbing
- Seaside trips
- Library reading challenges
- Building assault courses in the garden or the house
- Making dens in the garden
- Movie afternoons
- Junk modelling
- Make a holiday scrap book
- Mud pies
- Puppet shows
- Flying kites
- Learning to ride a bike without stabilisers
We are on a mission this holidays to spend as little as we can due to Paul being out of work currently, and barring a few treat days out we have spent very little entertaining the children.
