I have to say I may not be a very girlie girl but I have a great fondness of beautiful flowers. There doesn’t have to be an occasion, having flowers around the home just makes me feel happy and it brightens the place up too as well as helping to disguise the everyday smells of having two children and a large dog.
I received a beautiful floral bouquet last week from FloraQueen which came with a lovely teddy which was a cute touch, and of course was quickly swiped by Emmy and is now in her room – I got off lightly really as she wanted the flowers in her room which wasn’t going to happen.
The bouquet I chose was Lady in Pink, a beautiful mix of Pink Lilies and Pink Roses with fresh greenery. This bouquet is priced from £29.
Lilies are my favourite flower and I had Yellow ones in my wedding bouquet, the great thing about Lilies is they last a very long time, especially if they arrive closed as mine did.
The bouquet was hand delivered by the florist and was presented in a very pretty clear and pink cellophane wrapping, they had water in the display wrapping to keep them fresh and this meant you could stand them in the wrap until you wanted to remove and place in a vase – this is perfect for when you have flowers delivered to work or a party.
My Lilies opened up after 2 days and the arrangement lasted for a good 6-7 days even when kept on my sunny windowsill. They not only looked beautiful but smelt it too.
FloraQueen deliver flowers and plants all around the world, in more than countries with the help of their local florists. On the day I was due my delivery I received an email to say my flowers were being prepared and mine arrived beautifully hand delivered at 5pm on that day.
I was very pleased with this service and would definitely use again.
