That’s it now, the countdown to Christmas is now fully upon us, now already November and the shops are completely filled with Christmas décor. This is my favourite time of year, and not just because it will be my birthday soon!
Since this time of year in particular is a good one to have some extra money, Swagbucks is offering a 500 SB Bonus to people who sign up through me this month – it’s the biggest bonus they’ve ever offered!
Swagbucks, in-case you’ve not discovered it just yet, is a rewards site where you earn points (called SB) for all sorts of things you’re probably already doing online, like shopping, discovering deals, taking surveys, watching videos, and more! Then earn points (SB) which you can then exchange for PayPal cash of gift cards to places such as Amazon, Starbucks, and more! – Rather handy at this time of year!
Here’s how you get your bonus:
2. Earn 300 SB total before 1st December. You’ll get a 300 SB bonus for doing it!
3. When you do your Christmas shopping, spend at least £25 through Swagbucks Shop* and you’ll get another 200 SB bonus on top of the cashback you’ll get from shopping. (this is really easy to do and many places you already shop are linked to Swagbucks – I’ve earned points from my ASDA delivery and Argos purchases this week alone)
Here’s the best part – if you refer someone yourself and they do they steps 2 & 3, you’ll earn the same bonuses they do, so it really adds up!
That’s it. It’s super easy. I use it myself daily now – I’ve added it as my default setting on my computer so if I am browsing, window shopping or even spending money I know I wouldn’t miss out on the SB which will then give me the vouchers I need to buy our Christmas gifts.
Since signing up myself in late September I have now exchanged enough SB for Amazon vouchers and am now waiting for the Amazon Black Friday sale on 25th November to purchase Emmy’s Kindle Paperwhite she wants for Christmas (I’ve actually enough vouchers to purchase it now at full price but why do that when I can get it for around £50 less by waiting a while)
*You must receive your shopping SB before 1 January
I also like hunting round for discount codes elsewhere to save money in the lead up to Christmas, after all who doesn’t like to save as much as they can? One of my favourite places to shop for the kids clothes is GAP as the clothes last well and wash up well too meaning I’m not then having to replace 5 minutes after purchasing – you can get the coupon codes here.
What is your favourite way of saving money for Christmas?
