Christmas Gift Guide 2015: For the Girls

It’s that time of year again, Christmas is approaching far too quickly and unless you’ve been squirreling presents away all year around (I know I always have the best intentions and may even start off well but I have never managed to get completely organised) you may well be wondering what the children of the family are wanting for Christmas.

I have been searching around for the past few months trying to find perfect gifts for all our younger family members, here I am sharing a selection of our buys, a few things which I’ve seen at recent events and a few of our recently sent review items and of course a few from the kids ‘Mummy, I want that.  Can you write it on my list please?’ list.

Now I hate separating toys into boys and girls toys (It’s not something I do here – Emmy and Harry happily both play with the same toys regardless of colour etc.) however for simplicity and to help those of you searching for specific family members I have separated them for you here.

Rose Petal Cottage from DreamTown: (RRP £99.99)
Rose Petal Cottage is a playhouse with a difference, this can be used all year round as it is an indoor country-style house which allows toddlers the freedom to create their own games, using their wonderful and active imaginations for hours of role play fun.
This adorable cottage features a working front door with useable letterbox, shuttered windows and a toddler height cooker with twisting dials and an opening oven door.  This is sturdier than other indoor tents/playhouses and the finishing touches of fabric illustrations, broderie anglaise trim, real shelf and photo frame give it a homely and friendly feel which makes even me want to hop inside and play.

You are able to add to this lovely cottage by buying accessory sets which include a Tea Time set and a Kitchen Set.

Mamas and Papas Armadillo Dolls Stroller– £49.99

Just like the adults version of this pram.  The Armadillo stroller is easy to fold making it easy to put away tidily after play.

It features a removable hood, under seat shopping basket, reclining seat and front swivel wheels.
This is suitable for children ages 4-8 years old and has a maximum handle height of 66cm.

It also comes with a matching changing bag.

Exclusively in the Lemon Drop Fabric.  With large back wheels this is really easy for young children to push around, and they can easily store their belongings or their dolls in the large basket underneath.  Pull the hood down and dolls and lay back and have a sleep while they are happily pushed around.

Baby Annabel Learns to Walk – £49.99

This is a 3in1 doll which will be a hit with all doll fans this Christmas.
Baby Annabel is learning to not only crawl but to walk too.  If you sit her up she will get very excited flapping her arms and legs around while making excited noises.

Place her into the crawling position and she tries to crawl but sometimes she will fall over onto her tummy and cries.

Hold her hands and help her to learn to walk – slow and steady and a step at a time.

This is a very cute addition to the Baby Annabel toy range. Standing at 42cms high – batteries not included (4xAA)

 Bratz Snow Kissed Yasmin Doll
– £15.00 (other Snowkissed dolls available)

Bratz #Snowkissed dolls are all set for the Winter fun – this Yasmin doll comes complete with 2 very cute winter outfits already to hit the ski slopes.

With snowboots, a skiing jacket, goggles and complete with her own skis she is ready to go – but not before you decorate her skiis and bling them up with the stickers.

After she has finished in the snow, get her changed into warm clothes and she can put on her mittens and sip her hot cocoa (also included).

Bratz Cloe Fierce Fitness Doll
– £11.99

If skiing isn’t your cup of tea then this Brazt #Fiercefitness doll could be the alternative.
All set for the adventure of hiking.

Wearing combat trousers and ready to exercise in the great outdoors, Cloe comes complete with a backpack, water bottle, camera and a sun visor.

Owl Snap On Watch from My Doodles – £15.00

This is a lovely starter watch for children as they often have small wrists and traditional straps are too big on them, I know this is the case for Emmy.

This has a silicone strap which is snapped onto the wrist, it then curls around fitting perfectly.

With a very cute owl design it encourages children to learn to tell the time.  The watch face is also removable so can be put into a pocket or even treaded onto a necklace.

Fairy Door – The Irish Fairy Door Company – £19.99

A beautiful wooden door which mounts on your child’s wall, spark their imaginations and invite the fairies into your home.

These beautiful doors come in a range of colours and can be accessorised with garden furniture, toys, stickers etc to make your home fairy ready.  These doors are available in an arched shape and a round shape and are priced at £19.99 with accessory sets available separately.

Both Emmy and Harry have fairy doors in their rooms – and it is a perfect way to leave notes for the tooth fairy to come to visit when the time is ready.

 Disney Princess Hair Glow Rapunzel
– £39.99

This is a very cute doll – Bring the magic of Disney’s Tangled alive with your very own singing Rapunzel.

Brush her hair and it magically lights up and she sings “I see the Light”.  You can read our review and see our video of this toy here.

Fairy Letter wooden puzzle – Wentworth puzzles £14.95

Brightly coloured children’s initial shaped jigsaws, available in every letter of the alphabet. These cute initial puzzles are very sweet and feature adorable fairy designs. It makes a fantastic present for your children or grandchildren.
