Christmas gift guide – Gifts for Toddlers

Toddlers I find are my hardest age to buy presents for – Too old for the baby style toys – ride-on toys etc, too young for little pieces and always wanting what older siblings have – well mine definitely does and he also wants to grow up faster as he plays with Emmy’s toys.

It’s nice however for them to have their own things.
I’ve had great fun shopping around, trying toys out and choosing a good mix of toddler toys and gifts – these are our favourites – some we have been sent to try out, others I’ve purchased and some are on my must buy list for after pay day.
Battery powered (1AA not included) this set is a part raised oval railway track complete with aeroplane, 2 luggage/passenger trains, a departure lounge with lookout tower, steps for boarding the plane, 2 people and a suitcase – the people and suitcase fit into the aeroplane and also the trains.
The battery powered train moves along the track with ease.  Aged at 3+ although fine for younger children too – younger children may keep knocking the track off the raised platform but you could change it from a monorail into a normal track by removing the supports.
Combining two of Harry’s loves – planes and trains this ticks all of our boxes and will be played with for years to come.  This is an easy track to put together – no complicated instructions needed – a simple shape which even children can make themselves.
Priced at £59.99 although on offer at Amazon currently for £45.15 this wooden train set will last for years to come and is also compatible with other Brio sets so you can expand at a later date.
Great for role play, fine motor skills, imaginative and creative play.
