Easter Birds Nests – Recipe

Emmy wanted to bake this week, however due to feeling so ill I’ve not been up to much so we knocked up something quick and easy.


4 Shredded Wheat bars
250g White Chocolate
500g Mixed Marshmallows
Mini Eggs

To Make:

Crush the shredded wheat into a mixing bowl – I left this to Emmy who thought this was great fun.

Meanwhile melt the chocolate in a saucepan over a low heat, when almost melted add the marshmallows and keep stirring.

Pour the melted chocolate and marshmallows over the shredded wheat and mix well.

Spoon into cake-case

Add Mini Eggs

I told you these were simple!  But they are yummy.

  3. I love birds nest cup cakes! I've not found a gluten free shrewd wheat equivalent though so we can't make them 🙁
