It’s now official, Summer is over and Autumn is here.
This can mean only one thing in this house – jumpers, boots and collecting walks for collage pictures and Autumnal fun.
We love jumping around in fallen leaves, feeling the crunch under foot and of course making the most of outdoors before the freeze hits and its too cold for the kiddies.
Autumn is my favourite season – I don’t do well in the heat of Summer and hate being too cold in the Winter so this inbetween mix is perfect for me.
Recently I was asked if Emmy & Harry would like to try a selection of the AW13 collection from Vertbaudet, of course they would as they have both had growth spurts and their current clothes are getting to small. I gave over the kids sizes and told them I would love to be surprised.
When their parcels arrived I wasn’t disappointed.
Emmy received a beautiful long sleeved jersey dress, a jumper and a lovely pair of ankle boots, while harry had a colourful stripy hooded cardigan.
I’m a huge fan of little girls in dresses, tights and boots and Emmy agrees. She would live in dresses all year round given the choice so these were perfect for her.
The dress is aged 5 and costs £15, it is soft to the touch, has press stud fastenings at the back and 3/4 length sleeves. It is a soft pink/peach colour with grey detailing at the bottom and a heart design on the front.
The jumper has orange and pink stripes, elbow pads and a cute tulip design on the back, Emmy’s is age 5 and costs £19 however is currently in the sale for £14.25
The ankle boots I can’t seem to find on the website however are suede with a zipped side and work perfectly with Autumnal dresses and jeans too.
Finally Harry’s cardigan is multi coloured stripes lined woollen cardigan which is reversible – this costs £23 and is currently in the sale for £18.40
I’m really impressed with the Autumn/Winter collection and currently have a few more key items in my baskets ready to buy for the kids.
