Getting ready for Easter with Poundland

As a poundland Ambassador we have been given the challange of getting ready for Easter.  For this I was given a £20 voucher to spend and asked to do any of/all of the following

  • Make a Easter bonnet
  • Have an Easter egg hunt or prep for one
  • Get our Easter craft on

Well they were easy for me as we planned to do some Easter crafts anyway and Emmy is in her element when busy creating so here is our haul and what we created with them.

We brought:
  • Easter Bonnet
  • 6 Easter Chicks
  • 12 Easter Bunnies
  • 60 polystyrene eggs
  • Purple nest wadding
  • 12 decorative egg stalks
  • 2 x 18 plastic eggs
  • Make your own masks – set of 4
  • Make your own cuddly friend – Lamb
  • Cookie cutters
  • 8 chocolote bunny lolly’s
  • 2 xBag of chocolate egg
  • 2 xBag of easter chocolate coins
  • Peppa Pig Easter Egg
  • Ribbon
  • Easter basket
  • sewing kit
As you can see we got a huge amount and we spent and entire morning (3.5 hours crafting – it’s the quietest Emmy has been for a long time and the longest she has sat still!  I may have to go back and buy some more)
Easter Basket
Easter Bonnet
Easter Masks
Easter Friend
We have also made Easter shaped biscuits and decorated them as well as filling our plastic eggs ready for an Easter egg hunt over the Easter holidays.
I was really surprised at the quality of the crafting kits – the lamb and the mask, for a pound I really wasn’t expecting to much if I’m honest however I really can’t fault them, they are on a par with the bigger store versions.  My only critism would be there wasn’t enough elastic in the mask kit to create the 4 masks but that is it.
