Giveaway: Win a 10ft Instant Garden Pool – CLOSED

We are now officially in June and we have been promised a heat wave – I of course will believe it when it comes, but we can live in hope can’t we?
With that in mind and with the Summer holiday’s fast approaching I have a fantastic giveaway for you to get Summer ready.
How do you fancy this bad boy for the garden?

You’ll need lots of room for this fantastic pool as it is a whopping 10ft!
So when the kids fancy swimming and you can’t bear the thought of leaving the house to hit the pool you don’t have too.  They can have a swim in your own garden – PLEASE remember that children need to be supervised around water at all times!
This prize is being offered to you from www.paramountzone.com and costs £59.99 (it is currently available online from Amazon for £29.99). – If this is too big you are able to buy an 8ft version for £24.99
Setting this pool up is easy – blow up the top ring and then fill with water, as the water level rises so do the sides.  To remove the water just remove the bung near the base.
The size of this pool is 10ft x 30 and it holds 1048 Gal (3966L) of water.
You can purchase a Pool Pump with a Filter separately (this is not included in your prize).
This is a fantastic prize perfect for those hot summers days, great for not only the kids but large enough for adults too.
If you would like the chance to win this prize please fill in the rafflecopter form below.
UK entries only, this giveaway will end at midnight on 22nd June 2015.  Good Luck

  1. Run cold tap water over your inner wrists – it cools the blood as it runs through the veins there!

  2. Indoors – it's important to open the windows both upstairs, and downstairs. This allows airflow – cooler air coming in downstairs, hot air escaping upstairs. It really helps.

Outside – ice pops. Lots of them.

  3. sit in the shade drink chilled water fro the fridge and enjoy has we dot get that many hot days….barbara M

  4. Place your feet in a bowl of tepid water laced with some peppermint essential oil .. your feet will smell good too xx

  5. GET ALL THE BUCKETS OUT GET THE WATER GUNS AND GO HAVE A WATER FIGHT WITH THE KIDS.. YOU ARE NEVER TO OLD.. STAY IN THE SHADE IF YOU GET TO HOT. PUTTING YOUR FEET IN A BOWL OF COLD WATER HELPS , AND RINSING YOUR WRISTS UNDER COLD WATER..

  6. To be in your own pool filled with cold/cool water – how refreshing and relaxing, preferably with a glass of home-made lemonade with ice, wearing plenty of waterproof sun-screen and part under a gazebo for the extra shade when required. Oh I can just imagine it now – perfect!!

  7. I was 8 months pregnant during last year's heatwave! The only thing that worked for me was carrying a fan around with me everywhere

  8. Wear cotton clothing. Take sufficient fluids. Cool drinks, ice cream etc can be nice / enjoyed and is cooling.

  9. A damp flannel in the freezer or fridge, put on the back of your neck, on your wrists and inside elbows, lovely and cooling…my Dad says drink a cup of tea, latent heat diffusion, will could you down!

  10. Buy a large, inexpensive bottle of eau de toilette or cologne, keep it in the fridge and squirt forehead and neck occasionally to cool down.

  11. What is your top tip for cooling down on hot days? . . . . . . contrary to popular opinion, ice cold drinks do not cool you down, a nice warm cup of tea does the job much better

  12. Run your wrists under cold water, it cools your blood and pumps it round your body! I used to do this when I worked in a boiling hot restaurant! Ps am mega excited about the pogo stick giveaway!!!!!

  13. I've found my girls are big fans (no pun intended!) of those mini fans you can get, they love playing with them and they cool them down too 🙂 Making homemade ice lollies is always fun too, the kids love them and they help to keep them cool. X

  14. Put a hose pipe into an empty 2litre water bottle and tape the end in, then drill some holes in the bottle. Turn on the hosepipe and you have a homemade sprinkler!
