Growing up one of my favourite places to visit with my Mum was Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne Woods, Hertfordshire. I clearly remember getting the bus with my Mum and Brother and the excitement of a fun filled day looking at the animals. Both Emmy and Harry love it here too and we have visited on numerous occasions as we live locally.
We are thrilled to announce we are now working alongside one of our favourite places as Ambassadors and we can not wait to take the children to see what fun they have planned for Halloween. As Harry will be recovering from his operation over the half term period I am sharing with you in advance the plans they have in store for this spooky period.
Events will kick off with Wolf Awareness Weekend on the 22nd – 23rd October in aid of the Anglian Wolf Society. (Wolf Night on the Saturday, includes a twilight tour of the Park, talks and a very special
Then up until 31st October, the whole park will be themed with all sorts of spooky treats. There will be free Wolf masks for the children upon arrival, animal spooktacular shows, Wolves Woodland Walk, animal pumpkin feeds, bat encounters in Dracula’s Bat Cave, meet and greet the creepy crawlies, a Howl-o-ween hunt around the park, stalls, gifts and competitions throughout the week.
Everything your family could want for a fun filled spooky and furry adventure while enjoying the fun of the wildlife park and outdoor/indoor play areas.
I have loved seeing all the changes to the park over the years I have been visiting – with additions of indoor play areas, the animal areas growing and its popularity growing each year and can’t wait to see what fun and excitement they have planned for the year ahead.
