Invites at the ready – it’s game on and party time #Review

I’m over the moon at what arrived in the post today.

It’s just over 6 weeks until my baby boy is 1 and to mark the occasion we are having him Christened the day after his birthday.

We had Emmy christened when she was 9 months old however I wasn’t as organised this time around so the longer it took to organise the more I decided a joint party would be a better idea.

PaperShaker offered me £25 site credit to make any card or invitations I wanted and I knew as soon as I saw these Dino Print cards I knew they were perfect.

I just love them.  You can change many of the elements and colours to suit your needs within the template.  I added 2 of my favourite pictures of Harry, changed the colour and design of the Dinosaur, added the text I wanted and changed the number to a 1 for my baby’s 1st birthday card design.

On the reverse you can add the text you like in a choice of fonts and can change the background colour too – this is a pale blue colour.

What I liked best is how easy these are to make too, it took me about 5 minutes to design the perfect card and only took 2 days to arrive.  I ordered 3 packs which cost £32.69 including delivery – this is for 30 cards.  The more you buy the cheaper they become.

While on the site Emmy spied the cards she would like for her party – nothing like forward planning from my daughter as her Birthday isn’t until February – she even chose the pictures she wanted.  I’ve designed it and have it waiting in wish list ready:

These are called Space age alien, I’ve no idea why she picked these although they are cute, my only thoughts are she recognised her name (I changed no text on this card).

If you are planning a kids party then there are a huge range of invitations available

You can also design wedding cards, Thank you cards and birth announcement cards – if you do use the code EMMYSMUMMY and you can save 25% off your order (this code is valid until 6th October 2013)

Now they have arrived I now need to book a hall and write the invitations, oh and the small task of buying birthday presents and then making and preparing the food.

Why do I have these ideas? Now would be great to come from a small family only we don’t so we are looking at around 120 guests.
