A sequal to H20 (which she hasn’t actually seen but makes no difference) – this show is about 3 mermaids who’s job it is to guard Mako Island. Unfortunately during their guard a boy ventures into their pod during a full moon and turns into a Mer-man.
As far fetched as it seems this is a show which draws you in – I often find myself snuggled up with Emmy watching a couple of episodes.
There are 3 seasons to this show, the first has 26 episodes and the second two have 13 – it’s been her bedtime show of choice for a while now and she is currently on the third season.
It makes a nice happy medium between the cartoons she was watching and the Americanised tween shows.
A cartoon which helps with children’s vocabulary.
WorlGirl is disguised as a mild-mannered fifth grader in daily life. This verbal superhero springs into action to fight crime and enrich vocabulary usage.
1 season available with 26 episodes.
I’m not a fan of this but anything which adds to her learning can’t be a bad thing really.
Barbie Charm School:
Emmy loves the Barbie movies and has watched this one a few times.
Mr Peabody and Sherman Show:
Harry loved this film so the show is the next best thing.
In their new show, Mr. Peabody and Sherman host a zany late-night comedy show from a swanky penthouse, with time-travelling guests and a live audience.
1 season with 13 episodes.
Zig & Sharko:
Zig, an island-bound hyena will do anything to get his paws on Marina the mermaid, but her devoted pal Sharko always comes to her rescue just in time.
Masha and the Bear:
A cute but extremely annoying (sorry Mummy’s opinion) girl called Masha lives in the forest, where she has many wonderful adventures with her neighbour, a bear who used to be in the circus.
Fun-loving Travis, a stuffed toy who lives stuck on the inside of a car window, is always looking for adventure with his equally unusual and mischievous pals.
Slap-stick humour which has Harry rolling around in fits of giggles.
