Lee Valley White Water Centre

Your last chance to visit the only London 2012 venue open to the public ahead of the Games, and raft the Olympic rapids!

I live in Waltham Abbey and am keen to discover and visit all local attractions with Emmy, especially over the course of the summer holidays where all of her clubs are closed for summer but also as its a time where summer events are organised for children.  This new Centre is just on my doorstep and we are hoping to visit very soon.

With the Olympics drawing closer Lee Valley White Water Centre is getting ready for one of the greatest events of its life – the London 2012 Olympics!  With less than a year to go you still have time to Raft the Olympic rapids before the games start.
Lee Valley White Water Centre opened its doors in April 2011 and within the first three months alone, the Centre has seen:

  • Over 8,000 members of the public raft the Olympic Standard Competition Course – a year before the Olympians hit the water
  • 8,500 people pass through the Centre each week
  • 90,000 visitors to the site – including those rafting, visiting the café and spectating
  • 10,000 visitors over opening weekend

And by the end of summer 2011, nearly 17,000 people will have rafted the rapids ahead of the world’s best.

Don’t miss your last chance to ride the rapids before the Olympians, and at only £49 per person for a day’s fun on the water, you can’t afford not to, book now go to: http://www.gowhitewater.co.uk/
