Love Hearts for Valentine’s Day #Giveaway

Love Hearts made by Swizzels Matlow are celebrating their 60th Anniversary.  Bring love to the homes of many.  I remember clearly swapping love hearts in the playground of junior school with friends and boys I liked (cringe worthy I know!).

1.75 billion sweets are produced every year and each packet contains 25 sweets featuring a selection from over 150 romantic messages.

Love hearts are a perfect gift to give to a loved one and this year’s range includes special love hearts gift tubes containing mini rolls – RRP £1 and a special love hearts gift box filled with mini love heart rolls – RRP £3.

To kick of the 60th Anniversary celebrations Love Hearts are offering 10 winners a money can’t buy prize – to design and create their own love hearts message and win a VIP factory tour to see their Love Hearts being made.  You can find details of this competition on special 4 roll multipacks.

Fun facts about Valentine’s Day:

  • Hearts symbolise love because it’s believed that if Eros, also known as Cupid, shot you in the heart, with one of his arrows, you would fall hopelessly in love.
  • The first Valentine’s Day gift was sent by Duke of Orleans to his wife after he was captured in 1415.
  • Girls of Medieval times ate bizarre foods on St. Valentine’s Day to make them dream of their future spouse
  • Women purchase approximately 85 per cent of all Valentine’s cards

To help get you in the mood for love Swizzel Matlow have given me a selection of love heart goodies (see above picture) to giveaway to one lucky winner – you will receive all the sweets in the picture (champagne glasses not included).

For your chance to win please fill in the Rafflecopter form below.  This giveaway will end at midnight on 11th February 2014.  Good Luck.

  1. I'd be happy with some uninterrupted time with my hubby but as thats very unlikely while the kids are little I'll settle for chocs 🙂

  2. i don't to presents very well, like giving more but if i had to choose something, a pair of shoes would put a bg smile on my face hehe x

  3. A single giant red rose, as it's the first thing my husband got me on our first date. I then had single red roses as table decorations and bridesmaid flowers. It's a sentimental thing!
