Both Emmy and Harry are big Peppa Pig fans, we’ve been to Peppa Pig World twice now and I’m sure we will return again this year, they have some of the play sets and both still request to watch it on TV and loved the stage show.
We were recently asked to become Peppa Pig Holiday Mumbassadors and I knew Harry would be thrilled.
To keep the children amused over the Easter holidays we were sent two new DVD’s, 2 Easter Eggs and some activity books.
The kids are always happy to have a new DVD to watch on the rainy/quiet days – not that we have had many of those recently – our Easter holidays were manic and filled with outdoor adventures, it’s always good to be outside while the sun is shining.
They loved the activity books and they have been perfect for keeping in my changing bag to keep them entertained on train journeys and while waiting for our meals in restaurants.
Of course the chocolate was scoffed within half an hour of arriving.
I can’t see the kids love of Peppa Pig fading any time soon – even at 5 Emmy is happily sleeping in her Peppa Pig onesie and under her Peppa duvet set, and Harry is sleeping in his Dinosaur onesie – we brought the kids PJ’s when last at Peppa Pig World as it was cold and wet, so after a long day we changed them into these and they happily slept all the way home.
If you too have Peppa fans then you can head over to the grown up’s part of the website and find holiday activities for your children – the Easter activities are currently there and the half term activities will be unlocked soon in time for May half term: http://www.peppapig.co.uk/grown-ups/
You could also try making your own Peppa Pig Bookends with the kids, these also double up as play scenes for your characters – you can follow our how to guide: How to make Peppa Pig Bookends.
