Review: Fisher-Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm

Fisher Price have a huge range of toys from birth upwards to pre-school age.  They will be  launching a new competition soon (I’ll bring you details of that soon) to win a HUGE bundle of their top 10 favourite toys.

As part of this I have been sent one of those toys to show you and to tell you all about it.

We have received the Little People Animal Sounds Farm to play with.  It is actually classes as a Baby Toy however Emmy has been playing happily with this as well as Harry.

Included with this toy are:

  • A Barn
  • A Cow
  • A Horse
  • A Chicken
  • A Sheep
  • Farmer Eddie
  • A Hay Bale
  • A Pen for the animals
When this arrives you need to attach the ladder inside the barn and screw on the back (it takes a few seconds but you will need a screwdriver to do this).
This toys has lots of play options and my two both really like it.  A plus is it comes with batteries included!
The tall barn means they are able to get their hands inside easily making it easy for Harry (20 months) to put the animal’s away in the barn, open the doors and access the slide.
This toy plays 8 different songs when you open the doors or pop the animals down the slide.  There are animal noises and funny sounds to keep hold the children’s attention.  You can turn  the clock dial to hear day time songs or night time songs.
The figures and animals are a perfect size for small hands to grasp and to move around.
This farm is a nice size to put on the floor and Harry can easily play with it or I can put onto his toy box for him to stand up and play too.
Plus points to this toy are that the batteries are included, the other pieces store easily into the barn when not in use and most importantly there is an on/off switch for when they want to play but you’ve just had enough of the songs (it does happen!).
We can see why this is included in their top 10 selection as we have had hours of fun with this toy and it will last Harry a good few years.
The Fisher-Price 10 Faves include: the Kick & Play Piano Gym, Rainforest Friends Melodies Mobile, Rainforest Jumperoo, Stroll Along Walker, Laugh & Learn Love To Play Puppy, Laugh & Learn Say Please Tea Set, Laugh & Learn Cookie Shape Sorter, Laugh & Learn Click ‘n Learn Remote, Chatter Telephone and Little People Fun Sounds Farm Playset.
