Choosing gifts for all the family can be hard especially for those you won’t be seeing on the day, you may want to send them which can of course be expensive and you aren’t guaranteed now that they will arrive on time. For family I won’t see on the big I like to send flowers for special occasions.
Every year I would send my Mother-in-Law, my Mum and my Nan flowers for these such occasions, this year there is a large hole in our hearts as we are missing a special someone for the first Christmas. As regular readers will know my Mother-in-Law passed away this Summer and we were and still are devastated.
As Christmas approaches it is getting harder for us all but we are determined to make it special for the children and to do things to remember their Nanny.
Appleyard Flowers have helped us to do this by sending the most beautiful bouquet called Harmony, which has taken pride of place in my house and not only does it look and smell beautiful but it includes Anne’s favourite flowers which were freesias.
These flowers arrived carefully packaged in a flower box, wrapped, tied and placed in a water box to keep them moist.
Once unwrapped the smell is wonderful and many of the flowers are still closed which means they will last longer.
Included within this bouquet are White Freesia, memory lane Roses, Purple Trachelium with Ornithogalum and Avalanche Roses.
There really couldn’t have been a more perfectly fitting bouquet. It is beautiful.
I have removed some of the Freesias and placed them in the special individual flower vases we have dotted around which we keep filled with this special flower – we leave fresh flowers weekly still for Anne and when we do we remove 1 or 2 of these flowers to keep around the house.
If you are wanting to send flowers to a loved one this Christmas then you still have time – Appleyard Flowers are taking Christmas orders right up until 9pm on 23rd December for a guaranteed Christmas delivery.
Also, I have a very special discount to share with you lovely readers – if you would like to save 33% of any of the flowers on site (excluding the small flowers by post range) then please enter BLOG33 at checkout.
