Many of you may be SO confused by that title however if your a blogger you may already know what it means and why I’m so pleased and happy.
Let me explain a little.
The Happy Badger has visited me, NO I haven’t been digging up wild mushrooms from the garden and eating them in random Alice in Wonderland fashion, nor have I been drinking either, smoking or raiding the medicine cabinet – I’m not seeing things – he is real!
I’ve been visited via email by the Appliances Online Happy Badger who likes to go around and spread a little happiness on your behalf – he is a special Badger who will donate £50 to a charity of the bloggers choice.
I consulted my Mother in Law to help me decide where my £50 donation should go as it is on her behalf I will be donating it to her toward a Cancer charity – she is the one going through this terrible disease and I wanted it to go somewhere close to her heart.
My donation is going to www.macmillan.org.uk – it is the MacMillan Nurses who are always at the end of the phone when questions need answering, day or night, they provide so much care and support to all cancer patients and offer a friendly welcome whenever it is needed. They provide practical, medical and financial support and help to push for better cancer care.
Providing invaluable support to patients and their families at an extremely hard time in their lives
Thank you so much to the Happy Badger, you’ve made us very happy.
