Why should all the big kids have all the fun? The 3ft People Festival is all about bringing the fun to Pre-school aged children. This will be running for 4 days in July in Chelmsford and is an event which shouldn’t be missed.
The UK’s largest festival exclusively for the under 5’s and their careers is returning from Monday 1st to Thursday 5th July in Central Park, Chelmsford. This year the festival will he held over 4 days and will see more than 10,000 pre-school children try out their moves in workshops, make souvenirs and get the chance to see and to a selection of farmyard delights. The giant sand pit, show tent and squidgy soft play area will also return with everything on site to entertain, amuse and enthral youngsters.
You can look forward to:
Soft play area
Music & movement areas
Make and do areas
Shows and entertainers
On-site caterers will be offering a selection of hold and cold snacks, cakes and maybe Emmy’s favourite ice creams and their will be bottle warming facilities (handy for Harry) as well as picnic space if you want to bring a picnic along. There will be something for everyone whatever your tastes.
Tickets are only for sale in advance of the event and available to the general public from Wednesday 1st May. I would advise early booking as the last festival sold out in just 2 days!!
Tickets can be purchased online at www.chelmsford.gov.uk/3foot
from 7am or in person from the Chelmsford Theatre Box Office from 9am. Tickets cost £2 for children under 2 (including babies) and £6.50 for children aged between 2 and 5, adult tickets (aged 16 and over) also cost £6.50. Tickets will NOT be available via telephone.
If you fancy a great day out with your pre-school aged kids then this looks great fun. I will be there with Emmy and Harry on Wednesday along with some good friends.
