Yummy Mummy…Me? No, but I can pretend

Well that’s definitely not how I would refer to myself, with hair which needs dying again and old clothes which are covering the tell tale signs of two babies and two c-sections…..so I can only be referring to one thing…..my new designer changing bag!
When Pink Lining announced they were bring their Grey Bows range  back for a limited time I was left in no doubt over that being my favourite from their collection of gorgeous changing bags, close second being the Multicoloured Bows.
Grey Bows just topped it as it would match any of my current brightly coloured buggies or subsequent buggies too, and it wouldn’t clash with my clothes – yes you do need to outfit plan to show it off perfectly.
Upon opening the packaging of my new bag – a white box with the pink lining logo written distinctively on it I discovered that the bag is even nicer close up so I knew I had made the perfect choice.
Yummy Mummy Bag

I have to admit seeing my lovely new bag does make me smile, and how could it not?  I chose the Yummy Mummy bag which has the unmistakable cupcake design on the front pocket which is almost good enough to eat.
I currently have 11 changing bags, some may say that’s too many, others may say not enough! Many have come free with my buggies but one bag has always been top of my wish list and now I have it my shopping itch may be cured! That’s actually very sad as I love new bags, the look, the feel and the smell.
The Yummy Mummy bag has two large elasticated grey canvas pockets on the sides which are large enough to hold Emmy’s drinks bottle or a bottle of water for me (I’m trying to be good so I’m now carrying a bottle of water with me to help avoid snacking on rubbish), there is also a small canvas front pocket which is decorated with a cupcake design and has the Yummy Mummy logo on.
The bag itself is cream coloured with light and dark grey bows on it, this part of the bag has a PEVA laminate coating making it easy to wipe down with a damp cloth – something I’ve not had to do as yet as everyone knows not to make Mummy’s bag dirty – but a feature that I’m sure will come in useful knowing my mucky pups!
Inside the bag is lined with a lovely bright pink lining, 2 insulated bottle holders, 2 large nappy pockets, a small zipped pocket, phone pocket, pen holder, mirror, key fob, a padded changing mat and a zipped wet bag.

This bag really is HUGE – Inside my bag currently is:
  • Changing mat
  • Wetbag with a sleepsuit and vest inside
  • 4 nappies
  • wet wipes
  • Sudocrem
  • Nappy sacks
  • Muslin
  • Purse
  • First aid kit
  • 3 toys for Harry
  • 2 dribble bibs
  • body spray
  • breast pads
  • Gaviscon sachets
  • Teetha sachets
  • Pen
  • Notebook
  • Crayons for Emmy
  • 2 spare dodo’s (Dummy’s) for E & H
  • Fruit shoot
  • Wotsits
  • Spoon
  • Lipbalm
You can see that there is still room left inside, it really is a bit like Mary Poppin’s magic tote bag, I kept pulling things out and they kept coming.
The shoulder strap can be removed and it features large carry handles which are large enough to also use over your shoulder, both of which are grey and tan coloured coordinating perfectly with the bag.

Now my questions are…do I need another bag so I can keep this for best? and where can I get a matching purse?
This bag is priced at £79 and is available from www.pinklining.co.uk
Disclosure:  I recieved this bag free of charge for the purpose of this review, all thoughts and wording are my own and I really do love it.
