First visit to the Dentist

Last week I took Emmy with me to register with a Dentist, Paul and I needed to find a new Dentist – Paul because his old one had retired and me because it seemed silly to have a local one 2 roads away and continue to go to one in the next town.

She was so excited when we went to register last week and funnily enough got upset when we left the Dentists to go to the park – why? because she hadn’t seen him yet, she wanted to have her check up there and then – bless her, lets hope that continues in years to come but I doubt it.

So, today after school we all walked down for our appointments and I’m so proud at how well she did.  She stood nicely in the room (it was a large room so all of us went in together including Harry in his buggy) with Daddy and watched me have my check up, she stood in the hall while I had an X-ray then did the same while Daddy had his check up.

When it came time for her check up, she jumped up on the chair, smiled and happily opened her mouth when asked, no fuss, no bribery needed.

She loved it and already wants to go back even though they forgot her sticker.

All is perfect with Emmy’s teeth and she is so proud, Daddy’s are fine and I need yet another filling which I’m not happy about.

What has annoyed me is I rarely drink fizzy drinks or juice, don’t have sugar in my tea or coffee or on my breakfast and eat relatively healthily – well definitely healthier than Paul who eats more chocolate and sweets than me!  Oh well, back next week for me – this time when Emmy is at school.

  1. That is the suitable weblog for anyone who wants to seek out out about this topic. You realize so much its nearly onerous to argue with you (not that I actually would need…HaHa). You positively put a brand new spin on a subject thats been written about for years. Nice stuff, just nice!
