As well as just being able to print from my computer and from my phone HP have some a great Photo creations design centre which is free to download – using this I have created Emmy’s birthday card and printed it off in less than 5 minutes.
Here is how.
Firstly download the free software to your computer – this took 2 minutes and 20 seconds on my computer.
Then choose the type of card you would like to make:
As you can see you have a few options and can make more than just cards.
I wanted to make Emmy’s birthday card so choose greetings card. You can choose to print at home or to have this sent to you instead.
Next, choose a theme you would like to use (you can have just a plain background if you preferred).
I chose ‘Girls Birthday’.
Next you add any pictures you want to use and drag them into place.
Next add your text, I added ‘Happy 4th Birthday Emily’. Chose the font and size and position where you like.
Et Voila – a personalised card in minutes!
You have the option to change the card size, add a message inside, have a design or picture printed inside and can print it on two pages and stick together yourself or chose the double sized print option.
Now I’m all set for the birthday girl tomorrow! How is my baby almost 4?
Making this was so easy I don’t think I will need to worry should I forget a birthday again, minutes later I can have a card and no-one is any wiser (that happens often!).
Disclaimer: I received my printer free of charge from HP.
