Review & Giveaway: Out and about with Trunki Paddlepak

A little while ago (sorry posting has been delayed due to constantly illnesses) Harry was sent the ultra cool Clownfish PaddlePak – you will notice the theme from our Konfidence swimwear reviews following through here.

The Paddlepak is a water resistant swimming bag which is the perfect size for children to carry around their own swimwear.  Harry has just restarted his swimming lessons and it easily fits his towel, swim nappy and swimming shorts inside, with room to spare for a snack, and even my house keys tucked into the zip pocket on the tail.
Made from a light weight and durable material and with a unique roll top close it means they wont get their dry clothes wet when carrying their bag home again.  To close you fold over the top 3 times and then click close, Harry at almost 2 can’t do this himself however is happy for me to take charge.
With slightly padded straps its comfy to wear however it does fall of Harry’s shoulders often due to the bag being on the big size, it has a 7.5 litre capacity and is suitable from age 2.  Harry is almost 2 (less than a month away *sobs*) and tall for his age but this is still on the big size for him, but that’s fine as it will last!
There is a special Trunki grip on the strap which you can pop the arm of sunglasses/goggles through or even thread your locker key through if you wanted.
It features high visibility reflective straps and a reflective trim which helps to make sure your child is visible even in poor/low lighting and at night time.

Harry is rather taken with his bag and the freedom it brings him by being able to carry his own things around.  I’ve found this bag stuffed with books and toys and jumpers, slung over Harry’s shoulder ready for “School – bye bye Mum” – it would appear he would like this as a School bag too when he starts next year.  Paddlepak’s are priced from £19.99 and are available in a number of styles.
Our Paddlepak was also very kindly filled with a few Ella’s Kitchen snacks – these are perfect after swimming snacks – healthy and a perfect portion size too.

The selection we were send is from the new snacks range – They are a very strange mix this time and neither Emmy nor Harry were overly keen I’m afraid to say, perhaps the mix was just a little too strange for them.  There were Cheddar & Leek Multigrain Wheels, Parsnip & Poppy Seed Crackers, Raspberries & Banana Multigrain nibbles – these actually went down rather well and the large container is actually rather handy for keeping under the buggy for an after school snack en-route home (mess free too) and Oat & Spelt Cookies. 
I like the idea of a variety of healthy snacks and if my children weren’t so fussy these would be a great after swimming treat, that said I found them rather tasty and they saved me grabbing a bag of crisps so they weren’t wasted.
