6 awesome ideas to make your kid happy in 2022

Posted on February 17, 2022February 17, 2022

**Collaborative post**

Kids from a very young age crave attention, love and time from their parents. Spending good time with them moulds their personality in a good way. It also strengthens your relationship with them.

Every parent wants to see their child happy, but it’s easier said than done. Around 30% of kids are badly addicted to phones. This addiction makes them prone to mental health struggles, social anxiety from a very young age. If this continues, it will also become really tough to help them get out of this addiction, because then they start seeing parents as their worst enemies.

To prevent you from facing this situation, the first thing you need to do is stop giving your phones to your kids to get some free time for yourself. This simple thing might not be as important as you think, but this is how several kids start disconnecting from their parents. Instead, participate in some fun activities to make your kid happy.

Below are 6 awesome ideas to get you started. Let’s see them.

    Listen to their day

The most simple yet awesome way to bond with your child is by just listening to their day. Little children have a very carefree attitude and positive mood throughout the day and they always love their parents to hear them out.

It might be the silliest of things but it matters to your child. Listen to them, ask questions and laugh with them. It will definitely put them in a good mood before sleep.

  1. Get them enrolled in a club

Children develop a lot of love for different kinds of activities at this age. So, get them enrolled in clubs they find most interesting.

It can be swimming, basketball, painting, dancing among others. It is an awesome way to open new doors for them to make new friends, have a lot of fun and then come home and tell you all about it.

You can also invite some kids’ entertainers from Yabadoo during weekends and spend some fun time with them. Trust me, you will spend a time worth remembering!

  1. Help in craftwork

This is the age where the child develops a lot physically and mentally. So involve them in a lot of physical activities and craftwork. Do not just buy them craft supplies, go along and help them in doing those works.

Kids’ crafts are very simple and fun so you can expect to have more time in learning and bonding than the actual craft itself. Believe me, they will keep that particular project as their favourite souvenir.

  1. Reward them with their fav treats

There’s never a dull moment with a kid. They make the mood lighter by just being the adorable little kid that they are. Giving them their favourite treats makes them immensely happy but you should not do it very often.

The best way to do this is by rewarding them for being responsible, doing their homework properly, making their beds and helping them with household chores. It doesn’t matter if it’s 2022, this is still a golden trick to keep your kids happy.

  1. Buy dual-player video games

It’s not possible to keep kids away from video games ever. So, buy a video game that is most fun when played with a partner. This way your child will play video games but not alone and it will also create an opportunity to have fun with them.

Plus, it’s great kids party entertainment as they can also pair up with friends for a match and have a gala time!

  1. Go on weekend road trips

It’s understandable for a working parent to take out a good amount of time for kids on weekdays. But you can cope with it on weekends.

Plan a short road trip, go to nearby parks, zoos and lakes. Bring snacks, games along with you to have some fun time together. You can also go to the outskirts of the city in the evening for some sky watching – children absolutely love stars. It will make them happy almost immediately.

  1. Have a pet

Having a pet might be a little more responsibility but it brings so much happiness around the house. Kids love pets. They can be their best friend. Even when you are busy, they will keep them occupied.

So, buy a nice dog, cat, or a rabbit for your kid and watch them smile cheek-to-cheek.

Over to you…

Kids are simple people; tiny-little efforts make them immensely happy. So, make some effort and express to them how they are the most beautiful thing to ever happen to you.
