**Collaborative post**

Being a gamer is one of the most fun things you can be. You get to play different characters and set out on adventurous quests that require skills, ingenuity, and an open mind. There’s no question why many people nowadays want to become full-time gamers. Some want to follow their dreams of becoming a pro gamer and dive into the esports world as a career.

If you’re one of these fun people, and you want to know if you can get financial aid to become a gamer, then continue reading to find out how you can make this happen.

Pro Gamers

As a gamer, you may be having a lot of fun playing on one of the ultimate gaming setups with a Razer Naga Trinity gamer mouse or an AOC gaming monitor, for example. In addition to that, you may love chatting away on your Audeze Mobius headset or rocking on your DXRacer Master Series gaming chair. Whichever gaming setup you choose, you’re aware that they all cost money, and if you want to be a professional gamer, you’ll need to find some form of income to make it happen during your first days.

While you’re gaming away and completing your studies, you might benefit from scholarships for gamers such as the Sportsmanship in Esports, Worldstudio AIGA, and the Streamgeeks Esports scholarships. These scholarships offer US students an opportunity to complete their education while enjoying their lives as gamers. They are mainly used for arts and architecture students, but can often be acquired by students pursuing a career in the video game industry.

For Engineers

On the other hand, if you want to pursue a career in the engineering world to afford your gaming life, then there are plenty of scholarship options for you. Gaming isn’t only about using your controller to play a game on the screen. It requires creation and conceptualization to make it come to life. Gamers often pursue careers as developers or engineers rather than sticking to gaming in and of itself. For this, the National Honor Society offers help for all types of students looking to achieve their career goals of becoming an engineer, developer, or any other professional career in the technology or engineering field.

For Artists

Moreover, if you’re looking to become an artist to work on video game projects, then a career in fine arts or 3D designing can be a good option for you. In this field, you can incorporate your artistic skills and design characters, environments, menus, weapons, accessories, skins, and other things used in a video game. Not only will you be able to work on a video game, but you can also work on designing the video game’s merchandise such as posters, toys, home goods, and any other trinket you can imagine. You can take advantage of the Women In Animation scholarship or the Trapology Gaming scholarship if this is the path you want to take in your career endeavour.

For Writers

Likewise, you can take advantage of the Aspiring Animation Professional scholarship and the UCI Pokimane scholarship if you’re a gamer interested in working on the development of video games. As a writer, you will be able to develop the plot and characters of the games and be able to leave your mark on the gaming industry by creating catchy phrases and memorable scenes for gamers around the world. You can even help write the lyrics for any video games’ theme song or soundtrack.

Any one of these careers and scholarships will open the door to success for gamers, no matter what area you’re most interested in.
