With Christmas fast approaching and lists being made by all, we don’t always want to traipse around the shops in search of the perfect present for everyone, personally, I am an armchair shopper and being claustrophobic at times I really hate the crowds in the stores after mid-November.
I far prefer staying inside in the warm with a mug of hot chocolate, Christmas movies playing and more often than not snuggling under a blanket in my PJ’s while surfing the net for gifts for the family. There is no need to find a babysitter to have the kids so they don’t see their presents this way and no “I want that one” if I had to drag them shopping with me.

This is currently on Harry’s Christmas list – he does get very cross when we point out that he can’t actually read properly yet so he is trying really hard to improve so he can have one. I have to admit, the new Paperwhite is also on my Christmas list so I do hope Santa takes note as I have been very good this year.

Fire TV
Both my children have these in their bedrooms as we have no working areals in the house and also we don’t actually watch live TV here – I got too fed up with the adverts and their “I want” and “can I have”, and of course I hate sitting through the adverts myself.
Instead we watch Nexflix, Stream films, watch YouTube, Disney Life and more. They just plug into the HDMI port of the TV.
