Where to Go in the UAE as a Family?

Planning the ultimate family holiday in the UAE is pretty easy once you know where you want to go! The spectacular cities in United Arab Emirates offer a wide range of things to do, new experiences to have, as well as a lot of fun for your whole family.

Here are just a few places for you to think about visiting when getting ready for a family holiday in the UAE.

Beach Resorts

The UAE is situated on both the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. Not only are there stunning beach resorts up and down the coasts, but some of the country’s best hotels and family fun spots are located on the beach! Keep in mind that you may need to look into Cheap Flights because the prices for these resorts can really be up there! However, you can always find group rates, or special deals at certain times of year.

Dubai

Dubai is one of the largest cities in the United Arab Emirates and the capital of the Emirate of Dubai. There are indoor skiing facilities, sand surfing and camel rides in the desert. Not to mention a wide variety of museums, aquariums, and even an indoor rainforest! There is so much to do for the whole family in Dubai that you could spend several holidays here and not do it all!

Family Resorts

Along the lines of the beach resorts in the UAE, there are many resorts up and down the coastline that are specifically for families! There is a resort in a zoo, several spa resorts that are kid-friendly, as well as hotels and resorts along the beach that offer child care and kid-friendly activities. All things considered, a family-friendly resort will give you a lot of fun things to do and a safe place to rest your head!

Abu Dhabi

As the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi has some really fun activities for the whole family! You can fly in from all over the world, using airlines like Air India, or American Airlines and save money because it is such a popular destination.

Here are just a few things you can do in Abu Dhabi as a family:

  • Visit water parks
  • Go to Warner Bros. World
  • Visit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
  • Spend time on the many beaches
  • Spend a day at any of the beautiful parks and zoos
  • Visit museums
  • Even go food shopping with the kids in the markets to find your new favourite food!

All in all, once you know where you’re going within the UAE, you can start to finalise all of the little travel details.

What Should You Take to the UAE?

There are so many things to consider when planning a family holiday. One of the things that should be on the top of your vacation to do list should be what do you take with you? When travelling to a country like the United Arab Emirates, there are some things that are MUST haves!

  • Weather Appropriate Clothes.
It’s hot in the UAE! Plan to pack clothes that can be worn in layers, as well as protect from the sun. Also, consider local customs and culture when packing clothing.
  • Travel-Friendly Backpacks and Belt Bags.
Both Dubai and Abu Dhabi are considered to be incredibly safe cities. However, you never know what can happen as a tourist in a foreign country. Make sure you have travel-friendly bags and totes to keep your kids’ favourite toys close, as well as your money and travel documents safe at all times!
  • Take a Knowledge of Cultural Differences.
There are a lot of different cultural aspects about the UAE. Do some research on the daily aspects of social interaction, foods, as well as
social etiquette and customs! That way you and your family can be respectful of local traditions. You can use Square Meal UAE to book a nice restaurant while on your trip.
  • Take an Open Mind.
Keep your kids in the loop about the many cultural differences and religious aspects of being in the middle east. Always pack an open mind when you go to foreign countries!

Travelling to a new place doesn’t have to be intimidating if you keep your clothing weather appropriate, know how to pack the right bags and what to take, as well as have an open mind about where you’ll be going.

Rules and Paperwork

When you’re getting ready for your family holiday in the UAE, one of the most important things you will need to do is understand all of the travel rules. Not only that but be prepared way ahead of time with all of your travel paperwork. Research what you will need to enter United Arab Emirates from your home country. As well as any visas or permissions you will need while you are staying in the UAE.

Now You Can Get Ready to Have Fun on Your Family Holiday to the UAE!

Once you’ve got all of your paperwork ready, you’ve packed weather and culturally appropriate clothing, and you know where you’re headed, you’re all set for the UAE. Get ready for fun with the whole family as you experience everything there is to offer in the United Arab Emirates on your next holiday!
