Giveaway: Win a ROOM merchandise bundle from StudioCanal

I never go to the cinema unless I go with the children, it’s not something I have the time to do however there is one film coming out on the 15th January which I would like to make an effort to see whether that is one evening/weekend with friends or perhaps one morning while both children are in school .

Based on the best-selling 2010 Novel by Emma Donoghue, ROOM stars Brie Larson and a breakout performance from Jacob Tremblay.

ROOM is the new film from acclaimed director, Lenny Abrahamson.  It is a riveting and emotional journey about the power of love, limitless imagination and the strength of the human spirit.  A celebration of the wonderful bond between parent and child.

In the movie, Ma has created a whole universe in ‘Room’ for her 5 year old son Jack, where they have both lived for the whole of Jack’s life.  But when Ma decides they have to escape, she risks everything to give Jack the chance to make a thrilling discovery.

I must admit to welling up and becoming rather tearful when I watched the trailer and it has definitely made me not only want to watch the film but to read the book as well.

  1. We went to the Odeon Kids showing of Hotel Transylvania 2 last weekend. First time we have been since my 4 month old was born. My 4 year old son had a ball. It was just so nice getting out haha

  2. Spectre it was OK. Lacked the polish of Skyfall, the story and the filming. Filming was done by a different guy. Skyfall's Roger Deakins is a genius, hopefully he will do the next James Bond.

  3. I last saw Star Wars the Force Awakens…reminded me so much of the original one and being part of a standing ovation in Leicester Square's famous cinema, London. Great memories and great films!

  4. I live in London and the cinema is so expensive I just don't go so the last thing I saw was 'About Time' as I went with my cousin who had a free ticket!
