My darling Harry
How on earth are you now 10 already?
It seems like only yesterday you entered this world and what a whirlwind you have been ever since.
Life with you in it is certainly not quiet or boring that’s for sure.
You are loud, fast and fun. There is no off switch even when you are sleeping you move around constantly and still don’t stop talking.
This past year you have really grown into a lovely young man. You’ve certainly found your place at home and school.
You have settled into year 5 brilliantly, in fact, you are thriving. Your teacher sang your praises at parent’s evening yesterday – and after a discussion with her a few weeks back we put focus exercises into place and with just a few tweaks and aids it is amazing the difference she has seen already, going from writing only a paragraph all lesson to nearly a whole page every lesson.
School was always hard for you, you’ve never really liked it and got easily bored, but now you are smashing it baby boy, working at a year 6 maths level and on course for working at a year 6 level by the end of this year. You’ve not only caught up this school year but have gone above and beyond.
You are loving your after-school clubs, loving archery and doing so well in Cubs that I’ve almost run out of room to sew on the rest of your badges.

Making everyone laugh is your speciality and you are very talented at doing that – there is never a dull moment with you around darling. I can see you being a comedian when you grow up or at least making some money from it somehow. You have a talent for making everyone around you smile and laugh.
Gaming is your obsession and you are so talented at it – building the most elaborate creations in Minecraft and Roblox – it amazes me and I have no idea how you do it or how you learnt to do it so well. You are so brilliant.
You are such a sensitive soul who makes me so proud to be your Mummy every single day.
Don’t ever stop being you
Love
Mummy
