We may have just celebrated Christmas however the sun has been shining and with the amount of food which has been consumed recently the park was calling us.
It’s been a little while since we spend any amount of time outside due to recent illnesses so it was nice to leave the buggy at home and to take the kids scooters.
Harry has been practicing hard on Emmy’s and was overjoyed to receive his own for Christmas – infact he has been scooting around the house for the past few days shouting “My Scooter, My Scooter” and kissing it.
With sun this bright it seemed wrong to sit indoors, so wrapping warm – well it is almost the end of December off we set for a few hours fun in the sun.
The kids didn’t want to come home and nor did Barney – so we stayed even longer than planned and they had so much fun.
It’s definitely blown off the cobwebs and the kids slept well – here’s to more days out and outdoors fun.
It's lovely to get outdoors for a bit of fresh air on days like this isn't it Zx
Its great when kids can run around and release all the extra energy.
I would have had kittens seeing mine up that huge slide. Nothing beats some winter sun and a trip to the park
Hehe, it's a big slide but I changed my positioning for this shot and sat on the floor for a different shot
I love a bit of winter sunshine. The kids looks like they are having loads of fun x
It was definitely needed, we were feeling rather cooped up recently
Oh I adore going to the park with the boys even if they are getting older
Never too old for the park
I am so happy with all this winter sunshine we're getting at the moment, it makes the world feel happier somehow doesn't it?! Great photos.
It really does, make us smile all day. Roll on more sunny days
What amazing weather – love the photos of the red steps, blue sky and blue kid!
That's my favourite too. Just love it
Great post lovely, the kids look like they're having a great time! xxx Thou Shalt Not Covet
Thank you Michelle
Very nicE! Over here is so cold we can no longer spent so much time outside unfortunately 🙁
Oh I can imagine. Roll on some warm weather for you all
How did Harry get to be so grown up and owning a scooter? I remember when Emmy was barely this age! They look full of smiles and fun at the park, it must have been a magical Christmas for you all, they are such a lovely age. Thank you for sharing your outdoor park fun on Country Kids.
I know. I need time to stop for a while, it's going too fast
