**Collaborative post**
The current job landscape certainly has many of us wondering whether or not they’ll need access to an office again anytime soon, because working from home is an attractive prospect. To add to this, you have women who are considering a career change and want something new, something they can do from home.
If you’re in this category, you have an incredible number of options. You can stream on some of the best cam sites and make a killing in terms of income, or if that’s not your cup of tea, you can check out two alternatives we’ve got for you. Without wasting any more time, these are some great, profitable work-from-home careers for women.
Start an Ecommerce Business
You’ll probably hear that everyone and their grandma have an eCommerce business, and that might lead you to think that it’s not a profitable career. But that’s where you’d be wrong, because there are a few things you could be doing that’ll set you up for success, and they’re not that difficult if you play your cards right. And in the end, yes, you’ll be able to start an online business that grows.
The first thing you should do is find the right products to sell. This is arguably the trickiest part because you’ll need to do heavy competition research in order to find something that’s desirable, but not everyone is selling. But when you’ve found such a product, you’re pretty much set.
Setting up the website itself isn’t difficult, as there are plenty of plug-ins that will do the heavy lifting for you. What’s difficult is making sure that you offer your potential customers something that nobody else is offering, and give them a reason to buy the products from you, rather than someone else. Find something that makes you unique.
And once you’re up and running, your main goal should be setting up marketing channels that will put your name out there and advertise you to potential customers. Social media is a must, and it’s also a good idea to start serving Google ads as well. This will have customers on their way to you, and all you have to do is make sure they stick around.
This is easier said than done, but the thing you’ll want to focus on most is the ease of checking out, and of course, keeping customer satisfaction to a high level. Communication is key here, so make sure any complaints are resolved to the customers’ satisfaction, and you’ll be enjoying that income before you know it!
Create a Blog
An excellent way to let your creativity flow and make some money doing it, starting your own blog is a great work-from-home career. It does take a bit of patience until you make it big, but if you can afford to wait for it a bit, you can turn your blog into a real money maker.
Starting off, the combination you’re after should be a niche that’s popular, and you’re knowledgeable about. This enables you to get viewers thanks to the fact that the niche is well received, but it’ll also give you the opportunity to offer interesting insight that most of your competitors don’t really have. The blogging business is getting boring, with a lot of bloggers not giving their blogs a personal touch, and that’s something you want to avoid.
Once you’ve got the niche, start by filling up your blog with as much content as possible. Quality is important, of course, but you want your readers to see that you’re active first and that you know what you’re talking about. This will make them stick around, and show your blog to others. The result? Your readership will grow quite a bit.

This is where you want to be – new readers swarming in, and reading through your pieces and opinions. Once you have your statistics in check, you can start pitching to brands that are in your industry, and you’d like to collaborate with. High engagement is key here because such brands want to see that collaboration with you is going to be worth it.
But it’s not just brand deals that will get you a great income, you can also monetize your blog by collaborating with other bloggers, implementing Google Ads that get you money on every click, and a variety of other ideas. Which ones you go for is completely up to you, but there are definitely ways you could make a decent income.
Which One?
Which of the two options sounds better to you? Do you invest a bit of money in an eCommerce business to get things up and running, or do you prefer to be a bit patient and invest your time instead, starting a blog? With both being incredibly profitable work-from-home careers, the choice is all yours.
