A Royal Tea Party

Posted on April 19, 2016August 6, 2016
Did you know it is National Tea Day on 21st April? To celebrate Emmy has been having a Royal Tea Party with a few very special guests in attendance.
No tea party would be complete without a special tea set

This is a really cute Sofia the first tea set which comes complete with a cloth playmat, a teapot with removable lid, 2 cups, 2 spoons and 4 sponge cakes.  It has plates printed onto the mat and 2 special compartments for the spoons to slot into.

Of course for a special tea party you certainly need special guests so we invited a few princesses to join us.

Meet our special princess guests:  Sofia, Ariel, Belle and Cinderella.

These are Disney Princess Toddler Dolls which each come complete with beautiful dresses decorated with a glittery scene from their fairytale adventures, with matching tiara sparkles and magic jewels. Each have eyes which shine and sparkle.

Emmy has really taken to these dolls and has been carrying them around constantly with her, she even allowed Harry to join in with her special tea party which of course had to include real tea and chocolate.

I have had to keep an eye on my cheeky pair with this beautiful tea set as whenever my back is turned they fill it with water which of course gets spilt all over the floor.  The tea set although on the small side is perfect for our special guests to enjoy their tea party and of course Emmy absolutely loves playing host.

The dolls are all 14 inch toddler versions of the Disney princesses, all have removable dresses and removable tiaras as well as removable shoes.  You can make them sit or stand and even brush their hair.

Emmy has already chosen her favourite which is Cinderella while I am very taken with Belle.  Harry just tries to steal them all to wind up his sister.

We plan on having many more tea parties in preparation for National Tea Day.

Will you be joining in?

Clare

Hi, I'm Clare (Emmy's Mummy). A former Nanny and Mother of 2 - Emmy (born February 2010) and Harry (born October 2012). We are Essex based and share our adventures and misadventures of a busy crazy life.

About Me

Hi, I’m Clare – Mum to Emmy and Harry, ex-nanny and the writer behind Emmy’s Mummy. Based in Essex, I share honest tales of family life, parenting teens, top tips from a former nanny and our love of adventures, food, and UK staycations. We’re always up for exploring – whether it’s a trip into London, a caravan break, or just getting outdoors with a picnic. This blog blends my nannying experience with the everyday chaos of raising tweens and teens. Thanks for joining us!
