Disney Christmas Tree Decorations

Posted on
It’s a well know fact that we love Disney in this household, even before the kids came along I would happily sit and watch Disney movies at the weekend – much to Paul’s horror, and of course being a Nanny meant I was even able to get away with it at work.

This Christmas has already kicked off with Disney’s Christmas movies with ‘the Santa Claus’ and ‘Mickey’s once upon a Christmas’ being our current favourites, and of course Emmy and I had our skating lessons with the Disney on Ice skaters and we will be off to see Disney on Ice on Tuesday when it opens at the O2 (although the kids don’t know that one).

I’ve packed up their Christmas Eve boxes which include new Disney Christmas PJ’s so you can imagine how excited I was when we were sent these adorable Christmas tree decorations from Disney.

We were very kindly sent these Disney Tsum Tsum porcelain set of 6 figures which include Mickey & Minnie, Chip & Dale and Donald & Daisy Duck.

They are elongated as and look exactly like the loveable Disney characters only with the elongated shaped of the Tsum Tsum figures.  They each have a colour coordinated ribbon to hang them on the tree and look just adorable once on – I choose to hang them in their pairs as of course I didn’t want them to become lonely.

We also receives an adorable Mickey Mouse hot air balloon, inside the basket you’ll find Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald in the recognisable club house balloon.

This is light weight and sits perfectly onto the tree branches, I’ve placed ours up high on the tree so it looks like the four friends are floating upwards towards the Christmas star.

The Elsa decoration is by far the favourite of the children.  Elsa is standing on the balcony of her ice palace in all her finery, when placed near the Christmas lights the clear plastic looks like shimmery ice and if you turn her around and press the button on the back she sings out very clearly ‘Let it Go’.   Of course she hangs by a blue ribbon and looks fantastic in the tree awaiting the children to come home from school and press the button over and over again….thankfully parents she only works when you press the button so if it gets too much you can mover her up the tree out of reach.

These are adorable decorations and I will definitely be adding to our Disney collection next year.
The Disney ornaments sell out very fast but you can see which are still left over on the website: www.disneystore.co.uk/Christmas
