Easter at Aldi

I have always been one to grab my Easter Eggs in Tesco when doing my weekly shop, always a last minute dash effort with little thought put into which eggs I buy if I’m honest – they all taste the same.

Price usually dictates which ones I buy, which the luxury ones look great I begrudge paying over the odds for something which will last about 10 minutes.

I was pleasantly surprised when Aldi sent me one of their luxury Easter Eggs last week

Moser Roth Egg and Chocolates priced at £3.99 – A luxury chocolate egg with a collection of classic chocolates including caramel, fruit and nut centres.

This is a luxury egg which tastes very nice at only a fraction of the price, it definitely looks more expensive than it is.

I was also sent my favourites – Hot cross buns

These are priced at only 75p for a pack of 6 and I did have to stop myself eating them all in one day – toasted with butter hot cross buns are my weakness.  These are very tasty!!

Unfortunately I have now eaten all of these so may have to return myself to buy some more, now if only my local Aldi was within walking distance then maybe I could eat more buns and burn off the calories……now there is an idea!
