ChocBalls

Giveaway: Biotic Balance ChocBalls

Posted on October 29, 2014September 10, 2021

We all know there is Good bacteria and Bad bacteria in our bodies don’t we?  We all seen the adverts advising us to drink yogurt drinks containing Good bacteria but lets face it, how many of us actually do?  I start of a health kick with all goo intentions however the need for chocolate takes over and my willpower disappears.

What is I was to tell you there is now a chocolate which is good for you?

I mean it!!

A new range of chocolates containing beneficial live cultures has just been launched in health stores. Bioglan Biotic Balance ChocBalls contain the bacteria essential for healthy digestion.

Bioglan Biotic Balance ChocBalls are an innovative and tasty launch in the probiotic category and an easy way to supplement your diet every day.

The range is available in two variations – Dark Chocolate (adults) and Milk Chocolate (kids). Each delicious ChocBall has just 14 calories and are a source of fibre, designed for one to two ChocBalls to be eaten each day. Biotic Balance ChocBalls do not need to be stored in the fridge, making them convenient for on the go.  These are available for adults and for Children.

ChocBalls
Each pack of Bioglan Biotic Balance ChocBalls contains two live strains of bacteria – Lactobacillus rosell which is naturally found in the digestive system, and Bifodobacterium rosell which accounts for the majority of healthy bacteria in the lower bowel and aids a healthy digestive system.
The bacteria found in our digestive system is often referred to as either “good” or “bad” bacteria, and we need to have a greater percentage of the good for our wellbeing. There are several external factors such as poor diet, lack of sleep, illness, emotional stress, and certain medications, which can affect the necessary balance of these “good” and “bad” bacteria.
Nutritionist Suzie Sawyer said: “Probiotics have proven benefits for maintaining a good-working digestive system – promoting healthy bowel movements and helping to relieve the symptoms of constipation, bloating and flatulence. A good balance of bacteria in the gut is also needed as this helps us to better absorb macronutrients and produce the B vitamins as well as vitamin K.”
Also available in the range are Bioglan Biotic Balance capsules. Each capsule has 20 billion live bacteria from four scientifically studied strains – equal to the quantities found in 4 tubs of yoghurt (minus the fat, calories or sugar). These one-a-day capsules do not contain artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and use fridge-free technology, meaning they can be stored in the cupboard or taken on the go.
Bioglan Biotic Balance ChocBalls are available in most Holland & Barrett stores priced from £9.99 for the kids ChocBalls and £14.99 for the adults.
