  1. The Merrivale Model Village !! ..The last time I came to Great Yarmouth was 1972 with my mum, and, nan! we visited this charming model village, and, I was enchanted!! .. Now I'm a 'Nan' , I'd love to take my grand daughters, and relive those warm, happy, childhood memories with our family's ' new generation, and, hopefully it will become a family tradition!! xx … commenting as 'DEBORAH SWAIN'

  2. I must be 35 years since I visited Great Yarmouth with my dad. I'd love to go there with my little boy and make sand castles on the beach as I remember doing with my dad.

  3. I used to come to Gt Yarmouth every year with my children and now they are grown up they bring their children. The wildlife park is a favourite and the pleasure beach but the whole resort is worth a look.

  4. I have never been to GY but it sounds like my perfect location what with roman ruins, The Minster, The Fritton owl sanctuary AND beautiful sandy beaches. What more could anyone want (apart from good weather of course!) Everything crossed!

  5. We haven't been away in a very long time this would be great to just get away as a family relax and spend some time together and take our minds off all stress.

  6. I would love to take my children to Great Yarmouth beach, build sandcastles and have a donkey ride on the golden sand. We would walk along the golden mile stopping at Britannia Pier for an ice cream. Then heading to Joyland to ride the famous snails! After all this, would love to finish our fabulous family day riding on a horse & carriage.

  7. We went there in May my first ever caravan park holiday! We loved it and plan to go back next year!
We loved the seaside centre x

  8. The beaches look wonderful, so I know we would make a beeline for one of those! There is something very unique about the British seaside! We also love visiting zoos and other animal attractions, so they too would be at the top of our list, especially Africa Alive
