The sun has been shining lots and we have been spending as much time outside as we can.
Trampolining, water play, cutting down trees, climbing trees and when the rain did come then of course puddle jumping.
They both love being outdoors so much, especially since I go bought them the trampoline – they go on it from the minute they wake up and I have to drag them off at bedtime.
My garden is almost summer ready now.
I’ve a few more trees to remove and weeds to pull.
I want to pave over some of the garden or board it so the kids can have their playhouses moved and with the amount of climbing my children do I think a Climbing Frame maybe in order! But before I do that I need to find a way to kill off the tree roots to stop them growing back. Anyone have any tips?
Then I think I will be done.
When rain spoils fun? Brings more fun!

Love the pics of them on trees, that used to my childhood favourite and I think it's so important for children to feel connected to the outdoors! Always pleased that we have so much access to the countryside around where we live 🙂 X
You garden is looking summer ready indeed and I'm sure that trampoline will be in daily use, ours is, whatever the weather! Tree Roots should be fine with no new green growth there. Otherwise big ones we have cut down into tree seats very successfully. Thank you for sharing your summer garden fun and puddles too on Country Kids
