Seeing Emmy’s face was a picture when she opened this box which had been sent to her to review, it was a Jungle Junction Race Launcher with her favourite characters from the show Ellyvan and Crocker.
It comes in pieces in the box and you attach the stickers yourself – Emmy did get a little annoyed with me for taking so long the first time to put it together and to attach the stickers however once you’ve done it once it does become quicker the next time you put it together. It is a little large to keep in one piece so when we have finished and Emmy has gone to bed I do dismantle it and pop back into the box – which also means we don’t loose the racing characters.
The idea is that Ellyvan and Crocker race each other down the racing slopes with the first across the finis line wins the race. You can make Bobby ring the starters bell at the top then the race can begin.
This playset has brought out Emmy’s competitive side and her and Daddy have been having races with Emmy ringing the bell then shouting “Ready and Go Daddy” or “1, 2,3 me win now!!”. She loves it when she wins which more often than not is 99% of the time as she has learn if she holds onto Daddy’s character he can’t win or she switches character mid race (that’s my girl).
We have had hours of fun with this set and it continues to be a favourite for Emmy and Daddy to do together.
Another winning trick Emmy has learnt is to hide Daddy’s character in the tunnel underneath so he can’t race, ring the bell and shout “You no win Daddy haha”. She does love to tease him!
