‘Raise some Dough’ for Cancer Research with Brioche Pasquier

Posted on May 16, 2014July 17, 2018

As proud supporters of
Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, Brioche Pasquier is pleased to
offer the chance for one lucky Emmy’s Mummy winner to ‘raise
some dough’ for the cause by providing free entry to Race for Life
2014
. Brioche Pasquier will kick-start your fundraising campaign to
help beat cancer with a £50 contribution to their JustGiving page,
as well as providing the fuel needed to train for and finish the
event with a bundle of delicious Brioche Pasquier goodies.

Cancer Research UK’s
Race for Life is the UK’s largest series of 5k or 10k women-only
fundraising events, which are raising money for research to help beat
all 200 types of cancer sooner. The women
who take part in Race for Life are a powerful collective force
against cancer and a force to be reckoned with. Last year,
Brioche Pasquier raised £15,000 for Cancer Research UK and aims to
better that for 2014.

As you know Cancer Research UK is a charity very close to my heart and a charity I fully support and raise money for myself.  My wonderful Mother-in-Law Anne was diagnosed with Breast Cancer a few years ago now, a true fighter and an inspiration to all of us, she never complains, always wears a smile and even now while battling secondary Cancer of her Liver, Lungs and Bone she always smiles and offers help to others.  Her Grandchildren and children/family mean the world to her and she lights up still the little ones are around.  She always has a shoulder to cry on and a hand to hold even when she doesn’t feel well.  Anne is my real life hero and a fighter – this fight WILL BE WON!

Brioche Pasquier is
France’s favourite family run bakery, using traditional recipes and
authentic baking processes to create delicious brioche products for
all the family. This unrivalled knowledge of French baking techniques
has been passed through generations of Pasquiers since the first
bakery opened in 1936. Brioche Pasquier products can be found in
Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Co-op.
