Review: Hair Glow Rapunzel

Me and the Kids are huge Disney fans and on our lazy days we will happily choose a Disney movie and snuggle up and of course sign along to the catchy songs.
Of course the princess movies always go down well and a firm favourite is Tangled, so when we were sent a lovely Hair Glow Rapunzel doll I knew it would be a huge hit.
As with most toys these days she comes securely packaged so it took us a while to free her from her box – her hair is secured between two pieces of plastic which are sewn together – this is to stop her long hair from matting in the box before you’ve even got her home.  She comes with batteries included which is always a bonus and a hair brush.
To turn her on properly (she comes in trial mode, just flick the switch over on her back and she is ready for playing with.
Rapunzel can be played with and brought to life in two ways – pressing the button on her tummy or by brushing her hair with her own hair brush.  She will then burst into song, singing “I see the Light” and her hair will magically light up as it does in the movie.
You don’t need to brush hard to start off the songs which means even for little ones they are able to enjoy this really cute toy.  Harry has taken a firm liking to this and has claimed as his own.
Rapunzel has removable shoes and dress and two strings of lights intertwined into her hair, these light up when she sings.
This doll retails at £39.99 and is aimed at children aged 3+, it is very well made – you can pose her arms and legs and they won’t fall off (Harry has been rather rough with her and tested this fully).  You can remove her crown if you want to – it comes attached with plastic clips which can be cut off (or pull hard and they can be removed).

I can see this being a huge hit for all Tangled fans, it is certainly much loved in this household.
