Say it with flowers for Grandparents Day? Plus discount code

Posted on October 1, 2014October 7, 2017
Whatever the occasion, saying it with flowers is always appreciated – I send flowers as Get Well gifts, Birthday’s, as cheer me up presents and sometimes JUST BECAUSE.
Flowers sent unexpectedly are always they best kind and sending them is as much as a pleasure as receiving them I find.
Appleyard Flowers recently sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a surprise as I couldn’t choose from their stunning range so I asked for them to choose – I like to do this as when you send flowers the recipient doesn’t know what they are being sent and I do so love that suspense of opening the box and not knowing.

This bouquet is from the Grandparents Day Flowers range and is called Thankful.  It is made up with roses, white germini with white eustoma and deep blue agapanthus.
The colours are vibrant and the smell on opening the box is beautiful.  These flowers came elegantly packaged inside a flower box.  Inside they were gently wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a box bag – inside this is a plastic container packed with oasis to help keep the flowers upright and moist.

This beautiful bouquet costs £39.99.  Now if you would like to surprise someone special either for Grandparents Day or Just Because then Appleyard Flowers have set up a discount code for you which gives you a whopping 40%  off – Just enter code BLOG40 at checkout and enjoy.  You can use this discount on all Luxury Flowers (except the flowers by post range).
Disclaimer:  I was sent these flowers for the purpose of this post

Clare

Hi, I'm Clare (Emmy's Mummy). A former Nanny and Mother of 2 - Emmy (born February 2010) and Harry (born October 2012). We are Essex based and share our adventures and misadventures of a busy crazy life.

About Me

Hi, I’m Clare – Mum to Emmy and Harry, ex-nanny and the writer behind Emmy’s Mummy. Based in Essex, I share honest tales of family life, parenting teens, top tips from a former nanny and our love of adventures, food, and UK staycations. We’re always up for exploring – whether it’s a trip into London, a caravan break, or just getting outdoors with a picnic. This blog blends my nannying experience with the everyday chaos of raising tweens and teens. Thanks for joining us!
