I never know what to get my Mum for her Birthday. She has a love of Handbags and Shoes but having left home about 11 years ago it’s hard to know what she already has and what she needs.
The fall back options are usually chocolates and flowers which are usually grabbed from Tesco or a supermarket en-route to her house.
Now that’s not exactly special is it?
Occasionally I will pop into our local florists and have a bouquet made up however you really don’t get a lot for your money and a £20 or £25 bouquet looks rather boring and lacking in that WOW factor.
A timely email arrived just before my Mum’s Birthday from Debenham’s flowers asking is I would like to receive some Birthday flowers for myself – being the lovely Daughter I am, I asked for them to be sent to my Mum for her upcoming Birthday.
Browsing the Birthday Flowers section of the website I was actually surprised with not only the selection and variety of flowers available but with the price – they were extremely reasonable and many offered free delivery too making it a cheaper option than visiting our local florists.
I was torn between which to choose and narrowed it down to these two choices:
The flowers on the Left are called: Raspberry Birthday Delight, a bright mix of Raspberry and Blueberry shades of flowers along with a mini Birthday cake – priced at £31.99 The flowers on the Right are called: Spa Retreat Gift Set, Cherry Brandy Roses and berries accompanied by a Sanctuary Spa gift set – priced at £29.99
I finally went with the Raspberry Birthday Delight so that Mum had a birthday cake too.
You can choose the delivery date and address, give your message and await the arrival of your flowers.
They arrived nice and early, well packaged in a hard flower box with damp tissue paper inside to keep them moist, they smelt wonderful when the box was opened and most importantly Mum loved them.
