The Mystery Gift Box Mother’s Day Gift Box #Review

The Mystery Gift Box

I was recently introduced to  The Mystery Gift Box and they very kindly sent me a Mother’s Day themed box so that I would be able to share my thoughts with you all.

The Mystery Gift Box is a family run business based in Milton Keynes which was launched in January 2018.

They offer a wide range of themed boxes from those for Him, Her, Gender Neutral boxes, Star Wars fans, Tech gifts, pamper boxes and many more.

There is something for everyone but what you actually receive in your box is, of course, a mystery.

They currently have over 600 different product lines in stock, sources from 40 different suppliers across the UK and Europe, they are used to create individual gift boxes, all of which are individually hand packed and gift wrapped (for an additional cost if required).

For each mystery gift box you order you are able to select the contents value from £25 all the way up to £100, gift wrapping is an additional £5 and personalised gift labelling is also available at an additional cost of £1.50.
The box I was sent had a contents value of £30 and was beautifully gift wrapped too.  These boxes all come in plain cardboard boxes with your contents either wrapped or placed into it, mine had shredded tissue paper in to keep it all in place and protect from breakages.
I had 5 parcels within my gift box all wrapped and tied with ribbons.
The gifts I received were all lovely and items I personally would have chosen myself.

The Great British Bathe Off – bath melt collection

4 beautiful bath melts contained within an egg box style box and then placed into another pretty box to stop them from becoming damaged in the post.
These really do smell amazing and are products I have used myself previously.
They are made to look like 4 individual cakes, included were the following bath melts: Lemon drizzle wash,  Berry crumble wash, Cherry Bakewell wash and a chocolate cappuccino wash.

A beautiful china mug with the wording “Forever my Mum, Always my friend”

Face Mask

A lifting face mask sheet.
This isn’t a brand I have used before but who can beat a nice relax in the tub with good music on and a face mask to help soothe away the stresses of the day.
There are 5 masks contained within this pack so you can enjoy a few days pampering.

A gift box with 3 lovely scented candles. Team these up with the face mask and bath melts for a truly relaxing evening of pampering.

But not just any old popcorn, this is Joeseph’s Gin & Tonic gourmet popcorn, made with 5% real spirit.
Certainly, one to hide away from the children.

Overall thoughts

I really loved this gift box, the contents have been very carefully picked for the occasion of Mother’s Day, all pampering and luxury items which us Mums not only love but need too.
There were a lot of items in the box for the value of £30 and none of which looked of felt cheap either. Often with these types of boxes, you do feel like they are scrimping the bottom of the barrel to come in under budget with the items but these were all good quality items and I would have happily paid £30 for in the shops.
If you liked this box as much as I did why not take a look at the website for yourself and see what else they have available
Disclaimer: I received this box in exchange for this post, as always all thoughts and opinions are my own.
