Tickety Toc Toy Launch

Last weekend Emmy and I were invited to top secret toy launch in Hamley’s to celebrate the launch of the brand new Tickety Toc Toys.

Emmy is a fan of Tickety Toc so didn’t need asking twice if she wanted to meet Tommy and Tallulah so we had a girlie day out in London.

At the event not only did we get to meet Tommy and Tallulah but the children were treated to a live performance from Milkshakes Olivia and Kemi – Emmy loved it and keeps asking to watch the video I took.

Also at the event were Denise Van Outen with her husband Lee Mead and daughter Betsy, Tamzin Outhwaite with daughters Florence and Marnie (I met Tamzin last year when we were both heavily pregnant and she is lovely), Kate Garraway with Darcy & William and John Sargeant with his grand-daughters.

Upon arrival to Hamley’s it was a treat for all – it was closed to the public! We had Hamley’s to ourselves for the morning which is an amazing experience.

We headed up to the 5th floor for milkshakes all round while waiting for the entertainment to begin – Emmy and I may have taken this time to explore the Lego displays and to sword fight with sweetie filled swords – well it is a toy shop after all and it brings out the big kid in everyone.

The kids all loved the singing and dancing with Kemi and Olivia and they all joined in even the adults with some encouragement!

We then split into 3 groups and separated for different activities – first up for us was toy testing the new Tickety Toc toys. These will be suitable for 18 months +, the range includes talking soft Tommy and Tallulah toys (£14.99 each), a musical Pufferty Train (£22.90) and a Clockhouse Playset (£29.99)- these will be available from 27th July at Argos, The Entertainer, Smyths, Amazon & all good toy shops.

Emmy wasn’t very keen on the Clockhouse playset but really liked the talking toys and the musical Pufferty Train.

We then moved onto a craft area where Emmy made some Teeny Boppers and then onto story time before more singing and dancing before heading home with a goodie bag for Emmy and Harry which contained a mini soft cuddly Tommy and Tullulah – which Emmy has claimed for her own.
