Posted on September 27, 2021September 3, 2022

**Collaborative post**

You finally have a night to yourself, and maybe you’re wondering how to spend it. There are plenty of ways to entertain yourself in relaxing and entertaining ways when you’re home alone. If you’re looking for suggestions, here are four of them!

A night on your own is the perfect occasion to pamper yourself. Maybe you need an evening of doing absolutely nothing or maybe you’d like to spend the night laughing. Both types of the evening can be a much-needed break from the stress of everyday life. Tune in to find out whether you need an introvert or an extrovert evening. If you’re not quite sure, here’s some inspiration on how to spend your night in.

Do a beauty session

There’s not always time in a busy everyday life to take proper care of your body. A night on your own is the perfect occasion to do a full mani-pedi, facial masks, and hair treatments. Giving your body some care is the perfect way to unwind and feel fresh and renewed. You’ll thank yourself for weeks! Here are some tips for the best beauty treatments to do at home.

Binge a series

If you’d rather just do absolutely nothing and not even move from the couch, you could spend the evening binging a series. There is nothing more relaxing than knowing there’s plenty of episodes and you don’t have to choose another movie later or anything. If you’re looking for a new series, you should try looking at Imdb for the best-rated series right now.

Play games online

If you’d rather spend the evening being entertained in a more upbeat way, you can play fun games. There are so many types of games to choose from online. You can choose free-to-play games or choose to gamble at an online casino. This is a great way to make an evening a lot more exciting. There are so many places to play games online these days, that it can be difficult to choose. You can find a guide to trusted online casinos with fun games at YggdrasilCasino.com. Yggdrasil is also a game developer themselves, so you can be sure to find the most entertaining games at the casinos they recommend.

Invite your girlfriends over

If you are looking for a fun night, maybe you shouldn’t spend it on your own. Inviting your girlfriends over will guarantee you a night where you can relax, laugh, and talk about everything. You can buy some wine and some delicious food. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the porch talking all night. If your friends have kids as well, you should probably plan this evening some weeks ahead. Otherwise, perhaps your friends without kids can squeeze in a spontaneous night.

If you don’t have a whole night to yourself, but maybe just a couple of hours after the kids have gone to bed, you can check out fun things to do when the kids are asleep.

Clare

Hi, I'm Clare (Emmy's Mummy). A former Nanny and Mother of 2 - Emmy (born February 2010) and Harry (born October 2012). We are Essex based and share our adventures and misadventures of a busy crazy life.

About Me

Hi, I’m Clare – Mum to Emmy and Harry, ex-nanny and the writer behind Emmy’s Mummy. Based in Essex, I share honest tales of family life, parenting teens, top tips from a former nanny and our love of adventures, food, and UK staycations. We’re always up for exploring – whether it’s a trip into London, a caravan break, or just getting outdoors with a picnic. This blog blends my nannying experience with the everyday chaos of raising tweens and teens. Thanks for joining us!
