Dumbo collectable plush toy #AD

I really don’t there is anyone who doesn’t love a Disney classic, for us they are our go to on a Sunday morning while chilling out watching Disney Life.

Only this week did we get around to watching Mary Poppins Returns and I loved it more than I expected to.

You’ll probably have seen by now that another Disney classic is being remade for 2019 and that is Dumbo. It will be released into cinemas at the end of this month following the successful remakes of The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast.

The movie is directed by the celebrated Alice in Wonderland director Tim Burton.

The original Dumbo was released back in 1941 and was awarded the Oscar for best scoring of a musical picture, this new version is a live-action film starring actors Colin Farrell and Danny DeVito. Dumbo himself has been made to look lifelike using CGI technology.

The new film will follow the original storyline of the newborn elephant whose huge ears make him the laughing stock of the circus with everything, of course, changing when it is realised that Dumbo can fly.

The live-action version of the classic Disney film stars Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins as two children who care for the baby elephant, whose peculiar ears turn him into a circus sensation. They soon form a loving bond with Dumbo and become friends.

The ringmaster Max Medici is played by Danny DeVito, upon seeing newborn Dumbo declares he has “a face only a mother could love”, while war veteran and former circus star Holt Farrier played by Colin Farrell is then tasked to “make those ears disappear” – of course, this is an impossible task.
