Keeping the kids amused can sometimes be rather expensive. Toys you purchase don’t always hold their attention for very long. This new DoodleJamz mess free sensory drawing pad has changed that and it really is great fun for all ages.

DoozleJamz, is a very simple mess-free drawing/doodle pad. Made up of a plastic frame filled with either gel or beads (there are 2 types available to buy). It comes with a plastic styling stylus and removable background.

The great thing about this toy is that you can fully customise them by printing off your own photos for the backgrounds – just head to the website and upload your own picture which you then print and slide into the back. Use photos, selfies or even draw a picture to customise with the gel or the beads.

Squish & shape, sensory, mess-free drawing pads filled with safe, non- toxic gel or beads that can be drawn into or moulded for endless creative creations! Includes easy-to-use stylus or your fingers to paint or style. Simply draw, squish, sculpt, shape, create, erase, repeat! I can see these being a HUGE hit as the possibilities for creating pictures is endless, they are mess-free (always a plus for us parents) and at under £5 they can be classed as pocket money toys.

Jellypics have transparent jelly with different colour squishy beads which can be moved around easily with the stylist or your finger. This one is great when it comes to selfies and pictures of faces. You can create different facial features such as a new hairstyle or beard. Both Emmy and Harry preferred this style as they found it easiest to form fun pictures with – you can give your photos crazy hair and hairstyles as well as beards and moustaches. Emmy really enjoyed separating the coloured beads which kept her amused for a good hour each time.

The Jellyboards have 2 layers of coloured jelly. The 2 layers create an incredible sensory experience. It allows you to create double coloured artwork and it is great with both the stylist and your finger. This is great for sensory touch and with Jellyboards the possibilities are endless. We found it perfect for playing naughts and crosses on, and of course, means you don’t waste paper as you just swipe over the board to reset the gel and start again.

The kids have really enjoyed getting back to basics with these toys – simple fun that everyone can enjoy. I have even enjoyed playing around with this one and giving the kids photos crazy hairstyles and expressions.

I’ve now popped these in the back of the car so the kids can use them quietly and without fighting – well, with less fighting.

DoodleJamz are available from Smyths Toys and are priced at £4.99
