You may have seen from previous posts that I am currently working as a Merlin Annual Pass Ambassador, this is great for us as a family as come the summer holidays we like to take full advantage of our passes and head into London whenever possible, of course we do love the Theme Parks but London is so much easier to get to more frequently.
Our passes are always put to the fullest on the Southbank where we can visit Shrek’s Adventure, the SeaLife Aquarium and the Coca-Cola London Eye on the same day as they are situated only steps away from each other. Harry adores the SeaLife Aquarium and asks to go all the time and Emmy’s favourite is Shrek’s adventure (although I have sussed that she wants to visit the gift shop most of all to buy Shrek slime).
If you are planning to visit these two attractions over the Summer then they currently have some fun in store for you.

SEA LIFE LONDON AQUARIUM TO HOST
DISNEY•PIXAR’S FINDING DORY EVENT
NEW! FOR SUMMER : JULY 16th – SEPTEMBER 11th 2016
SEA LIFE Centres including the SEA LIFE London Aquarium have teamed up with Disney•Pixar to enable visitors to share the excitement of Finding Dory this summer.
A special Disney•Pixar Finding Dory event will be hosted at the Aquarium running from July 16th until September 11th 2016. Visitors will be led on an interactive trail by one of the new Disney•Pixar movie’s star sea creatures Hank (voice of Ed O’Neill), a cantankerous octopus. Hank will appear in many displays revealing amazing fishy facts and providing collectible ‘letters’ which will need unscrambling at the end of the journey to earn a reward.
Disney•Pixar’s Finding Dory tells the story of Dory’s quest to find her own family, with the help of Nemo and Marlin and new characters like Hank that she meets at a Californian marine rehabilitation centre and aquarium.
“Like Finding Nemo before it, the new film is likely to inspire an interest in marine life among millions of children, which is why we’re delighted to be associated with it,” commented event organiser Jamie Turner.
“We have many of the real sea creatures in our displays that the film’s characters are based on,” he continued “and with their help we believe we can reinforce the messages which are at the heart of the film, about the importance of looking after our seas and of sharing experiences with family and friends.”
12 SEA LIFE Centres will be hosting the event: London, Birmingham, Blackpool, Brighton, Great Yarmouth, Hunstanton, Loch Lomond, Manchester, Scarborough, Weymouth, Cornish Seal Sanctuary and Bray (Ireland). Find out more at www.sealife.co.uk
I can’t wait to take the children this Summer and know they will have as much fun as they always do.
If you aren’t Merlin Annual Pass holders then I highly recommend you book these attractions online as during the school holidays they become extremely busy and you may be turned away if you haven’t pre-booked.
I am a Merlin Annual Pass Ambassador and as such am bringing you the latest Merlin news and updates.
